Refund policy

We understand returns are sometimes necessary, fit is important to us too! Please read both online order and in store purchase policies carefully.
Online orders:
Local Shipping within San Antonio will follow the in store return policy of 7 Days.
FOR ONLINE FULL PRICE ORDERS SHIPPED ANYWHERE OUTSIDE OF SAN ANTONIO, RETURNS FOR A REFUND TO ORIGINAL FORM OF PAYMENT MUST BE MADE WITHIN 14 DAYS OF DELIVERY DATE. ITEMS MUST BE SHIPPED BEFORE THE 14TH DAY. AFTER 14 DAYS AND WITHIN 20 DAYS A STORE CREDIT WILL BE ISSUED. NO RETURNS CAN BE MADE AFTER 20 DAYS. CUSTOMER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR RETURN SHIPPING COSTS. (Original shipping fee is non-refundable.)
Before you proceed with a return, please understand the following items are considered FINAL SALE (NO RETURNS/NO EXCHANGES):
- SALE ITEMS- ALL items listed on our SALE page (ending in .00) are final sale and nonreturnable. No exceptions.
- DISCOUNTED ITEMS- During a SALE or using a discount over 15% will make the item a Final Sale and Non-Returnable.
- JEWELRY and ACCESSOIRES- ALL jewelry, handbags, AND OTHER ACCESSORIES are final sale and nonreturnable. No exceptions.
- FACE MASKS, BRALETTES, SWIMWEAR, HAIR ACCESSORIES, SLIPPERS, AND UNDER GARMENTS- For hygienic reasons, please understand these are nonreturnable items. No exceptions.
- SHOES- Shoes are currently being drop shipped directly from the manufacturer. We have no control over your shipping time or processing status. Your shoes will be updated with a tracking number once shipped from the manufacturer. Shoes are Final Sale and Non-Returnable.
NOTICE: You, as the customer, are responsible for return shipping costs. If a shipping label is provided to you, the return shipping cost will be deducted from your total refund. Please email us if you have any questions on size or fit at info@defiantboutique.com
STEPS TO RETURN AN ITEM:
1. Contact info@defiantboutique.com within 14 DAYS of receiving your item OR WITHIN 20 DAYS FOR STORE CREDIT. Returns requested after 20 days of delivery date will be denied. No exceptions. Please include your order number in the email and reason for returning. If you have an account with us, you can use this link to request a return. https://shopify.com/28651159587/account
2. If your return is approved, you as a customer are responsible for shipping the item(s) back. Please provide us with a tracking number. (Please see above for NON-RETURNABLE items. No exceptions.)
3. Items must be unworn, unwashed, scent/fragrance free, stain free/makeup free, damage free, and tags must be attached. Upon arrival, items will be inspected. If we receive an item with any issues listed above, you will be contacted and informed your item was not accepted as an approved return. Customer service will then provide you with the option for you to pay a fee to receive your item back or to forfeit the item.
4. Please neatly fold your items into your choice of shipping package. Do not use staples as this can damage the item and drop off at your nearest post office/ UPS /FEDEX. Please drop off within 2-3 business days of contacting customer service, as your return will already be in process. If sent a shipping label, the shipping label will be voided after 3 business days.
5. Please allow 10-15 business days to process your refund, as we must first receive your item.
Exchanges: Contact us at info@defiantboutique.com with the reason for the exchange and the correct size needed. We will place the size needed on hold for you at this time. Please neatly fold your item and place in a small box. Use UPS or USPS to ship your item back to us. Once we receive your item, it will be inspected. Once approved, we will either directly send you the correct size or send you a store credit to repurchase the item depending on the item/items needed. Customer service will be in contact with you via email during this process. SALE ITEMS are NOT exchangeable.
DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE ITEMS: We are not responsible for the manufacturing of the items, therefore, our items are checked thoroughly to meet our standards before processing and shipping.
However, if you believe you have received a damaged or faulty item, please contact returns@defiantboutique.com within 3 DAYS of receiving your item for steps on receiving a replacement item. We will ask for photos of defect. Items sell out quickly and there is no guarantee we will have the same item in stock. Customer service will provide you with the the options available.
Any proof of wear will be denied a replacement item. Items damaged after washing or wearing are not considered defective but the product of wear and tear. They will not qualify as a defective or damaged item and cannot be returned. Please follow wash instructions on the care tag of each individual item to ensure the best care.
We reserve the right to decline a return.
Color Disclaimer: Due to monitor settings, monitor pixel definitions, we cannot guarantee that the color you see on your screen as an exact color of the product. We strive to make our colors as accurate as possible. Photos shown are approximations of actual colors.

In store purchase at Broadway Location or at Local Pop Up Markets,
& Online orders shipped within San Antonio or Orders placed for in store pickup:
Full Price Clothing items unworn, unwashed, and in original condition: Refunds to original form of payment must be made within 7 days from purchase date. (Shipped items will be 7 days from delivery date.) After 7 days and within 14 days, a store credit will be issued. No returns for store credit or exchanges are accepted after 14 days.
Customer is responsible for directly contacting Defiant Boutique for an exchange/store credit at Elysia Collective Co. Elysia Collective will not directly accept returns or exchanges. Elysia Collective Co uses a different system and cannot issue store credit directly. Please contact us directly for your store credit. We highly recommend trying on pieces in store before purchasing as we carry many brands that fit similar but not exact.
